ABOUT ME
I'm a former US Marine and Air Force Reservist with a passion for motorcycles and have been riding for almost 33 years, 16 of those on Drag Bikes at various locations in the United States and British Columbia. I'm licensed as an "expert" with WMRRA (Washington Motorcycle Road Racing Association), WERA (Western Eastern Racing Association) and OMRRA (Oregon Motorcycle Road Racing Association).
I'm known to my fellow forum friends as "MadManx". This nickname comes from my fascination and passion for Real Road Racing on the Isle of Man and in Ireland. It has been my dream for almost 30 years to visit the Isle of Man & Ireland and to participate in the Real Road Races. I have achieved one part of that dream with a visit to the Isle of Man in July 2008. I also got a one-on-one tour and tutorial on the TT course from my friend & team-mate Bill Callister and got to see the racing up close and personal.
It only "stoked the fire" within me to get to "Real Roads" racing part of this dream. 2013 I will embark on my second attempt to race the Manx Grand Prix. 2011 did not turn out so well... Click here for details.
Click here if you like to help with my 2012 effort. I keep record of all donations.
